There are lots of reasons why you would need to restore your bike gas tank.  Of course if you have a gas tank which is damaged or leaking in any way you need to be certain to replace it before you have an accident and go up in flames.  Lots of riders choose to replace gas tanks which are in great condition in order that they can set in a new tank which can provide them a larger riding range.
